Terms of Service

Enkvik is an online marketplace that connects customers who need local services ("Customers") with verified service providers — individual experts and registered businesses ("Providers") — across Pakistan. Enkvik is a platform only. We do not employ Providers, perform services ourselves, or guarantee the outcome of any service transaction. Enkvik currently does not process any payments — all payment for services is handled directly between Customers and Providers, outside the platform.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Enkvik.
• By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
• You may only hold one personal account. Businesses may have one business account.
• Accounts registered on behalf of a company must be authorised to bind that company to these Terms.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately at enkvik.support@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.
• Enkvik reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

As a Customer, you agree to:

• Post tasks that are genuine, legal, and accurately described.
• Provide truthful location, budget, and contact information in task requests.
• Not post tasks that involve illegal activities, hazardous materials, adult content, or services that violate Pakistani law.
• Treat Providers with respect and not engage in harassment, discrimination, or abusive communication.
• Submit honest reviews based only on actual service experiences. Do not write fake, malicious, or paid reviews.

As a Provider (individual expert or business store), you agree to:

• Represent yourself and your services truthfully. Misrepresentation of qualifications, certifications, or experience is grounds for permanent ban.
• Hold any required licences, certifications, or permits for the services you offer under Pakistani law.
• Respond to customer enquiries professionally and in a timely manner.
• Deliver services as agreed, at the quality and price quoted. Do not inflate prices after a task is accepted.
• Not solicit Customers to transact off-platform in order to circumvent Enkvik's platform.
• Maintain appropriate insurance where your services create risk of damage or injury.
• Not create fake reviews for your own profile or for competitors.

Enkvik currently does not offer in-app or on-platform payment processing. All prices, quotes, and estimates shown on the platform are amounts agreed between Customers and Providers only.

Payment for any service — whether cash, bank transfer, mobile wallet, or any other method — is made directly between the Customer and the Provider, entirely outside the Enkvik platform.

Enkvik does not collect, hold, process, or have access to any payment or financial information related to these transactions, and is not a party to, nor responsible for, any payment made or owed between Customers and Providers.

If Enkvik introduces in-platform payments in the future, this section will be updated and you will be notified before such a feature takes effect.

The following are strictly prohibited on Enkvik:

• Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely claiming affiliation with any organisation.
• Posting or transmitting spam, phishing links, malware, or any harmful code.
• Scraping, crawling, or data-mining the platform without express written permission.
• Using Enkvik for any purpose prohibited by the laws of Pakistan.
• Attempting to bypass, disable, or interfere with any security feature of the platform.
• Manipulating search rankings, reviews, or ratings through automated or deceptive means.
• Posting content that is defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or violent.

• Reviews reflect the honest opinion of the Customer who experienced the service.
• Enkvik does not edit or censor reviews unless they violate these Terms (e.g., contain hate speech, personal attacks, or are demonstrably false).
• Providers may not threaten, coerce, or incentivise Customers to change or remove a review.
• Enkvik reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms after investigation.

All content on Enkvik — including the logo, design, text, code, and graphics — is owned by or licensed to Enkvik and protected by Pakistani and international intellectual property law.

When you submit content (a profile description, photo, review, or task) you grant Enkvik a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, distribute, and promote that content in connection with operating the platform. You retain ownership of your content.

• Enkvik is a marketplace. We do not vet, certify, endorse, or guarantee any Provider or the quality of their services.
• Customers engage Providers at their own risk. Always verify credentials independently for high-stakes work (electrical, structural, medical).
• The platform is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free access.
• Provider profiles, ratings, and availability are maintained by Providers themselves. Enkvik is not responsible for outdated or inaccurate profile data.

To the maximum extent permitted by Pakistani law, Enkvik shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, any service performed by a Provider, or any unauthorised access to your account. Since Enkvik does not currently charge platform fees or process payments, our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed PKR 5,000.

Disputes between Customers and Providers are primarily the responsibility of the parties involved. Enkvik may, at its discretion, assist in mediation by reviewing evidence submitted by both parties. Enkvik's decision on platform-level actions (such as account suspension or review removal) is final. We are not a court and cannot compel payment, refunds, or performance.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or permanently terminate your account if you:

• Violate any provision of these Terms.
• Engage in fraud, abuse, or behaviour harmful to other users or the platform.
• Provide false identity or professional information.

Upon termination, your access to the platform ceases immediately. Sections 9, 11, 14, and 15 survive termination.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of Enkvik after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with a change, you must stop using the platform and delete your account.
